In May 2023 students from the University of Victoria will have the opportunity to travel and study ambitious sustainability efforts in cities of Western Europe.

In 2016 the field school was set in the Cascadia region (Pacific Northwest). We traveled down the coast from our home of Victoria,BC through Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Mt Hood, and communities on the Oregon Coast.

In 2019 our field school explored sustainability initiatives in Western Europe traveling south to north from Spain to Denmark.

In 2017, the field school traveled from Paris up through Bruges, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and finished in Copenhagen exploring initiatives in sustainable community development.

In 2018, students from the University of Victoria traveled to the UK and Western Europe meeting with planners, activists, community leaders and others grappling with the sustainability challenges facing cities.
